Built learning modules to help educate bank employees and customers in using online/mobile banking.

Overview

‍Horizn is a FinTech company that works with financial institutions to accelerate digital adoption rates, drive digital transformation, reduce call centre call times, and increase sales.

I created over 100+ learning modules using the Horizn Knowledge Platform to educate and keep employees/customers up to date with understanding their banking platform.

A few of our clients include Nationwide, HSBC, Bank of America, US Bank, Scotiabank and Wells Fargo.

I started out as a writer, but I became curious about switching to design. Fortunately, at this company, I was able to take on a hybrid role that allowed me to explore both sides.

UX Writing

My role involved creating clear and concise copy for interactive products, including mobile apps and websites. The copy I develop is for accessibility, in-product help text, microcopy, and more. As a writer for multiple clients, I adapt my writing style and tone of voice to suit a variety of audiences. I try to show users how to do everyday banking tasks as simply as possible.

UI Design

‍As a user interface designer, it was my role to create innovative and engaging designs for websites, software platforms, and mobile applications. We work along side creative directors, product managers, and developers to ensure usability and technical feasibility. I created wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design.
