As a UX mentor at Designlab, my goal is to guide students through the process of design thinking and show them new skills on Figma. With Designlab, students can have a 1-on-1 journey with a mentor to learn the fundamentals of design. What's great is that 9 out of 10 students switch careers without any design experience, and it's not required to have any design knowledge to take this course.

I'm fortunate to be able to mentor students from different parts of the world and from diverse backgrounds. It's inspiring to see how these students are able to apply their previous experiences to their design work. It's also a great opportunity for me to learn from them as well.

Once students complete their Foundations course they will have the required prerequisite to apply for UX Academy.

While I am serving as a mentor, I am also gaining knowledge from my students. I value the insights they bring and take pride in witnessing their accomplishments and development throughout their UX journey.
